The Application Process
"It was hard work – but it certainly paid
off. I went through a recruitment agency,
so my application process involved a
few interviews, then the last step was
the assessment centre. However, even
before getting the job there was
continued support from the recruitment
agency as well as Argos HR. Everyone
was very approachable and made me
feel a lot more at ease about the whole
process."

The assessment centre
"I actually really enjoyed it. It was pretty
tough, as we each had to go through 4
separate tasks, making it a tiring day.
The first thing that stood out was that us
grads were vastly outnumbered by
Argos employees but despite this, they
made us feel very calm and welcome
and took the time to have a chat. There
was a real buzz, and I could tell then
that this was the sort of environment
that I wanted to work in."

Why Argos
"The people and the versatility of the
scheme. I've always wanted to work in
retail, so once I knew what Argos had
to offer, I knew I wanted the job."
